SHILOH COMMUNITY HOUSING NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!

HELP US BY GIVING PUBLIC TESTIMONY IN SUPPORT OF THE “COMMUNITY’S RESOURCE CENTER” AND SHILOH COMMUNITY HOUSING

 

On Friday April 8th at 1:00 pm, the Senate Finance Committee will hear public testimony on proposed budget items, and we want our community’s voices to be heard! The Community’s Resource Center, which is an initiative managed by Shiloh Community Housing, would bring a “one-stop-shop” for services and community support to Mountain View with the objective to disrupt the cycle of homelessness.  A homeless prevention endeavor, the Resource Center would house a cafe, housing and employment support services, a center where financial wellness, physical and mental health wellness can be learned; and community gathering spaces. GCI has generously donated this building and we are hoping to get funding to continue building renovation efforts described in the capital budget.
